Our History
It all started in 1953 when Hugo Wojahn opened the original store in a 12x24 ft building on one lot at our present location.
As the business grew, Hugo kept up with it until he retired in 1972 and handed over the day-to-day operations to his son Edward.
At the time, the business had grown to include five interconnected buildings spread across 2 lots.
Ed continued to grow the business over the years and added well over 8,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space. In 1989 he also replaced the original five wood-framed buildings with the current showroom. After 24 years of running the business, Ed retired in 1996 but can still be seen at the store daily, checking in on sons Keith and Kevin who took over all of the day-to-day operations.
Today, Keith and Kevin continue the proud heritage of their father and grandfather and maintain the professional service and quality of products that people have come to expect from Wojahn Carpet & Furniture.
Meanwhile, Cody represents the next generation of Wojahns and is learning the family business.
